Originally I needed a name for my burgeoning song-publishing empire, then it became a useful brand for the various things I do - brand, Herd etc.. you get the idea.

Cattle Call brings together all the things I do:

Having been around music / showbusiness for some years, I have accumulated a few skills besides the traditional “singing & songwritering....”

Namely:

Sound wrangling

Production management

Teaching / tuition

In the music sphere, I have two main guises - that of guitarist / singer in the Coal Porters, and as a solo act / singing songwriter.

In short I write songs, play in bands, make audio, teach people stuff, run events.
